KATY, Texas — Ken Gregorski has been named the new superintendent of Katy ISD schools.
The Katy ISD Board of Trustees on Monday voted 7-0 to name Gregorski as the next superintendent.
Last year, superintendent Lance Hindt announced he would retire in January after he was hounded by allegations of being a bully in middle school. Gregorski was voted the acting superintendent in November and took over Dec. 1.
Katy ISD says Gregorski has 26 years of experience in public education with experience as a teacher, associate principal, principal, assistant superintendent and deputy superintendent in various school districts.
