HOUSTON — A Houston police officer was hurt Thursday evening while trying to catch robbery suspects in the Third Ward.
Officials said the officer suffered a head injury while chasing one of the suspects. He was taken to the hospital.
Police said the suspects robbed a Valero gas station at Richmond and Shepherd, leaving with cash and cigarettes. Police found their vehicle in the Museum District before the chase started. Three suspects were arrested, and police are looking for one more.
