HPD officer finds man shot to death inside vehicle

The officer found the deceased man after being flagged down by someone who reported hearing gunshots in the area.

HOUSTON — A Houston Police Department officer found a man shot to death inside of a vehicle Monday in Houston's northside.

This happened in the 300 block of Rosamond Street.

The Houston Police Department said someone flagged down the officer and said they heard gunshots. While checking the area, the officer found the man shot to death.
