HOUSTON — Houston police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on the sidewalk Tuesday near a temple in the Brays Oak area.
Investigators identified the victim as Fletcher Timothy Williams, 63. They said he suffered from blunt trauma to the head.
Police are awaiting autopsy results to confirm the cause of death.
Williams was found unresponsive about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 8400 block of South Breeze Drive in the Brays Oak area, near W. Bellfort and S. Gessner.
The victim was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived.
HPD said police are looking for leads and a motive.
