Let the bidding begin! J.J. Watt's game-worn helmet, uniform available in silent auction

The Texans star defensive lineman tweeted out some of the items people can bid on now to benefit the Justin J. Watt Foundation.

HOUSTON — It’s almost here!

The J.J. Watt Charity Classic softball game returns Saturday at Minute Maid Park and take a look at some of the items available in the silent auction.

The Texans star defensive lineman tweeted out some of the items people can bid on now.

They in include:

  • Game-worn helmet from 2018 season
  • Game-worn jerseys
  • Game-worn cleats
  • Dinner made for you by Watt’s chef
  • Dugout experience with the players

All proceeds go to the Justin J. Watt Foundation.

You can start bidding now on the items by texting JJWCC2019 to 52182.

On Saturday, Watt and his Texans teammates will play softball to benefit the foundation’s mission to provide funding for middle schools across the country that have insufficient or no funding for after-school athletic programs.

As of 8 a.m. Friday, tickets were still available for Saturday night’s event. You can find them at www.tickets.com or at the Minute Maid Park Box office.

The home-run derby starts at 6 p.m. while the softball game begins at 7 p.m.
