Houston Cougars bobbleheads unveiled to mark start of 2023-24 basketball season

HOUSTON — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum on Friday unveiled four limited-edition bobbleheads to mark the start of the Houston Cougars 2023-24 basketball season.

The Cougars were ranked 7th in AP's Top 25 preseason poll coming off a March Madness run that ended in the Sweet 16. The Coogs start their season on Monday as they take on University of Louisiana-Monroe at home.

The bobbleheads feature UH's mascots, Shasta and Sasha the cougars. Each mascot has two different bobbleheads. Each bobblehead is numbered up to 2,023.

"We are excited to unveil these bobbleheads featuring Shasta and Sasha as Houston begins the 2023-24 basketball season ranked in the top 10 again,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “These bobbleheads will be a must-have for Houston alumni, students, faculty, staff, and fans and the perfect way for fans to show off their love for the Cougars!”
