HOUSTON — Texans are on edge, worried Whataburger may lose its Texan spirit after being bought by a Chicago firm.

Our Verify team looked into a post online showing a major change for the fast food favorite.

The tweet seems to show Whataburger switching from the popular orange and white color scheme to black and blue to honor Chicago's two baseball teams: The Cubs and white Sox.

We reached out to Whataburger. They said this is a total fake. The orange and white paint job is here to stay. They are making sure people online know Whataburger will stay orange from Day 1 until "five-ever.”
