Verify: Is Galveston getting a Margaritaville Resort?

There's been some buzz about Jimmy Buffett and his partners adding a new resort on the island.

GALVESTON, Texas — Rumors are swirling that a Margaritaville Resort could be coming to Galveston. What better place to nibble on sponge cake and watch the sun bake all of those tourists covered in oil?

Speculation on an island location began after Jimmy Buffett’s partners announced plans for a Margaritaville Resort on Lake Conroe next Spring. It will be the first one in Texas.
