It was the interview the world was waiting for.
President-elect Donald Trump sat down with 60 Minutes Sunday night. It was a candid conversation with the man who will lead the free world in just a few weeks.
Trump's election has spawned anger, frustration and protests from coast to coast in the United States. In the interview, Trump tried to calm the country.

"Don’t be afraid. We are going to bring our country back. But certainly, don’t be afraid. You know, we just had an election and sort of like, you have to be given a little time," said Trump.
Trump asked the thousands who've taken to the streets protesting his win to give him a shot. The President-elect spoke directly to those perpetrating acts of violence and bigotry in his name.
"I would say don’t do it, that’s terrible, ‘cause I’m gonna bring this country together," said Trump.
Lesley Stahl said, "They're harassing Latinos, Muslims-"
Trump responded, "I am so saddened to hear that. And I say, “Stop it.” If it-- if it helps. I will say this, and I will say right to the cameras: Stop it."
It's been a whirlwind week for Trump that included a meeting with President Obama, a political foe he's been at odds with for years.
Trump promised during the campaign that he had the potential to be presidential. He says he's ready to show that side to the American people.
"I think I’m a sober person," said Trump. "I think the press tries to make you into something a little bit different. In my case, a little bit of a wild man. I’m not. I’m actually not. I’m a very sober person. But it was respect for the office, it was respect for the president."
Trump's policies remain difficult to predict, but the president-elect told Stahl he plans to repeal and replace Obamacare, while keeping key provisions like coverage for those folks with pre-existing conditions.
