HOUSTON, Texas A Morton Ranch High School student is facing child porn charges. Prosecutors told a judge that Kyle Boman, 17, had more than 3,100 explicit images on his iPod.

School officials received a tip from another student that Boman had naked pictures of students on his iPod. According to the charges, he was called to the office and the principal looked through the pictures and recognized two female students.

Investigators also found 15 pictures of minors on his iPod. They believe there could be more victims.

It was kind of creepy to me, said Jordan Morris who went straight to administrators after he said Boman harassed his girlfriend. He was asking her to send pictures of herself naked.

Morris girlfriend didn t want her namd used but said Boman kept asking for dirty pictures.

He said, 'I can send you a video of myself,' and I kept telling him'No' repeatedly, she said. He finally stopped and asked if I can send a picture of myself and I told him no.

Boman s mom walked out of court fighting back tears.

I can t talk, no comment, she said.

Boman s mother shook her head when asked if she ever saw the images. And she insisted her son is a good kid.

He s awesome, she said.

The judge set Boman s bond at $40,000 and ordered him to stay off the Internet unless it is for school use.
