HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — UPDATE: Harris County Precinct 6 Constables have located the boy, and he is safe.  The AMBER Alert has been canceled. His name has been removed from the article below.

A regional AMBER Alert was issued Wednesday night for a missing child.

The Texas Center for the Missing said it issued the alert on behalf of the Harris County Precinct 6 Constable's Office.

They're searching for 23-month-old boy, who was last seen Tuesday around 6 p.m. along the North Freeway in the Greenspoint area.

Officials said the child was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

They said the boy is possibly with an adult who's driving a white 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with Texas license plate TSY9686.

Anyone with information about the missing child or the vehicle is asked to call authorities at 713-274-3400.
