HOUSTON — Two private ambulance crew members were taken to the hospital Thursday after an ambulance and a dump truck collided in northeast Harris County.
The collision happened around 4 p.m. Thursday on Beltway 8 feeder at Lee Road. Officials said the crew members appear to have suffered minor injuries.
Sources said the AMR ambulance was en route to the hospital with a patient. Officials said one person was unconscious in the ambulance.
Harris County Sheriff's deputies are warning drivers to expect traffic delays on the frontage road.
