PASADENA, Texas — A woman pled guilty Friday to stealing over $1 million from the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.
Prosecutors said Jamie Huffar, a former financial director of the department, used her position to steal money for plastic surgery, trips and other personal expenses.
She was charged with misapplication of fiduciary property, fraud and forgery.
Huffar accepted a 15-year prison sentence as part of a plea deal.
