At Bunker Hill Road just south of the Katy Freeway and east of Gessner Road in the Memorial City area, there are downed trees blocking the road.

Police have it blocked off with cones so traffic does not get through. It’s also leaning on some power lines.

Videos sent in by KHOU 11 viewers overnight show just how strong wind gusts were at times.

There are also videos of how the downpour caused risky conditions outside.

The storms have moved out but the cleanup is underway.

Residents are urged to use caution during their morning commute as there have been reports of small debris on the roadways that can cause issues too.
