HOUSTON — The Texas Department of Transportation has several major projects planned for this weekend in the Houston area.

Here are your major planned road/highway closures for Jan. 25-27, 2019, according to Houston TranStar:

I-45 IN DOWNTOWN
Southbound lanes from I-69 EASTEX to ST JOSEPH PARKWAY | Total Closure | Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, January 25 to 5:00 AM, Monday, January 28 | Detour: Take IH 69 north to IH 10 east then continue east to 610 east loop south to IH 45.
I-45 GULF FREEWAY AT I-69/59/288 NEAR DOWNTOWN
Northbound Connector Ramp to IH-69/SH-288 Southbound | Total Closure Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, January 25 to 5:00 AM, Friday, July 5 | Continue on IH-45 Gulf Fwy NB along Pierce Elevated to IH-10 East to IH-69 SB. Tap here for more on this major ramp closure.
I-45 GULF FREEWAY AT THE 610 LOOP
Northbound from IH-610 SOUTH LOOP to WOODRIDGE DR | Total Closure | Closed nightly 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through the morning of Thursday, January 31 | Detour: IH45 NB main lane traffic will be detoured on IH610 EB, then up to IH10 WB. The detour for IH610 WB will be as follows: traffic will be detoured off Exit 40A on IH45 NB, U-turn at Broadway, and enter IH610 WB. The IH45 NB exit ramp to Woodridge Drive (Exit 41A) will be closed.
I-45 NORTH IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Southbound at RAYFORD RD/SAWDUST RD in The Woodlands | Total Closure | Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, January 25 to 5:00 AM, Monday, January 28 Traffic will be forced off of SB I-45 at the Rayford/Sawdust exit and will be able to re-enter the freeway just south of Rayford/Sawdust.
HIGHWAY 288 RAMP AT 610 S LOOP
Northbound Connector Ramp to IH-610 SOUTH LOOP | Total Closure Closed permanently beginning Friday, January 25 at 9:00 AM | PERMANENTLY CLOSED SH-288 NB TRAFFIC DETOURS TO THE YELLOWSTONE EXIT, 2LEFT TURNS ONTO SH-288 SB LANES ONTO THE IH-610 EB & WB DIRECT CONNECTORS
HIGHWAY 288 RAMP NEAR DOWNTOWN
Northbound Connector Ramp to IH 45 South | Total Closure | Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, January 25 to 5:00 AM, Monday, January 28 | Take IH 45 north to IH 610 north loop west back to IH 45
I-10 KATY FREEWAY AT 290/610
Northbound direct connector Exit Ramp to I-610 NORTH LOOP EASTBOUND | Total Closure | Closed continuously from 9:00 PM, Friday, January 25 to 9:00 AM, Saturday, January 26 Detour to US 290 westbound, exit Mangum/Dacoma, U-turn at Mangum to US 290 eastbound frontage road to enter I-610 eastbound.
