HOUSTON – The Houston Texans trimmed their roster down to 53 players on Saturday letting go of twenty two players.

Among those released were cornerback Brandon Harris, kicker Chris Boswell, wide receiver Travis Labhart and linebacker Max Bullough.

Harris, who was drafted back in second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, never developed how the Texans had hoped and with a new coaching staff, wasn't able to make enough plays in the preseason to keep his job.

All these players are eligible to be resigned to the practice squad if they clear waivers.
