These are the picks the Houston Texans have in the NFL Draft

Houston doesn't have a first-round pick this year unless they trade up again.

HOUSTON — The NFL Draft is Thursday, a chance for NFL teams to snatch up the very best in college football.

Last year, the Houston Texans made a splash in the draft by picking quarterback C.J. Stroud from Ohio State with the second overall pick. They then traded up in a deal with Arizona and got defensive end Will Anderson Jr. from Alabama with the third overall pick.

Those two ended up as the offensive and defensive NFL Rookies of the Year and led the team to its first playoff appearance since 2019.

So not a bad draft night last year, right?

When do the Houston Texans pick in the 2024 Draft?

So how is this year shaping up for the home team? While they ended up with two picks in the first round last year, right now, they don’t have any first-round picks in 2024. That said, they could trade up again.

The team has nine total picks as fo now. Their first draft pick is in the second round with the 42nd overall pick. They got that pick through a trade with Minnesota. They also have the 59th overall pick in the second round.

In the third round, they have the 86th overall pick and in the fourth round, they have two picks – the 123rd and 127th overall. The team also has two picks in the sixth round and two in the seventh. Below are their picks from NFL.com
