How to watch the 2024 Super Bowl, and all the programming surrounding it

This year, it started with NFL Honors on Thursday and continues through Sunday night!

LAS VEGAS — The NFL season comes down to this. The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11 in Las Vegas in a game you can catch on KHOU 11. San Francisco got to Vegas by knocking off Green Bay in the divisional round of the playoffs before their comeback win over Detroit. For Kansas City, it's their second straight trip to the Super Bowl, getting there by first defeating the Bills in Buffalo and then the Ravens in Baltimore. 

There's plenty of programming on KHOU 11 to get you ready for the big game. Also, make sure to follow KHOU 11's Jason Bristol on Facebook, X and Instagram as he'll be in Vegas covering all of the events surrounding the Kansas City-San Francisco showdown.

Saturday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.: The Super Bowl Soulful Celebration 25th Anniversary

Get ready to clap your hands and tap your toes to some uplifting R&B and gospel music the night before the big game. The "Super Bowl Soulful Celebration 25th Anniversary" special airs on KHOU 11/CBS on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.

The lineup includes Earth, Wind & Fire, Kirk Franklin, Robin Thicke, Mickey Guyton, Mary, Mary and Rachel Platten. The Players Choir, an ensemble of current and former NFL players, will also perform.

The Super Bowl Soulful Celebration will be hosted by the stars of CBS show "The Neighborhood," comedian Cedric The Entertainer, and actress long-time actress Tichina Arnold. 

It's the only inspirational music event sanctioned by the NFL for Super Bowl weekend, the organization said.

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m.: NFL Slimetime

Watch host Nate Burelson, Nickelodeon's Dylan Gilmer and kids sports correspondent Dylan Schefter as the end zones become "slime zones" and rewatch NFL highlights.

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m.: Road to the Super Bowl

Road to the Super Bowl is a look back at the highlights, highs, lows, emotions and victories leading up to the big game.  

Sunday, Feb. 11 at noon: CBS Sports – You are Looking Live

"You are Looking Live" is a documentary centering on "The NFL Today," the longest-running pregame show in sports television history, according to CBS Sports. 

Houston native Jim Nantz will join other current and former hosts, including Brent Musburger, James Brown and Bryant Gumbel, as they share memories from their time on the show that's been around for decades.

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.: The NFL Today

The NFL Today Show will provide pregame, halftime and postgame coverage, anchored by James Brown.

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m.:  The YouTube TV Super Bowl Kickoff Show

The kickoff show rounds out the Network’s lead-up to kickoff, featuring the singing of the "The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and “America the Beautiful” as well as the coin toss and team introductions.

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m.: Super Bowl LVIII

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 9 p.m.: Tracker  

Catch the premiere of 'Tracker' on KHOU 11 after the Super Bowl The show on Sunday night features the story of lone survivalist Colter Shaw's search in Oregon, to investigate a missing teen believed to have been taken by his birth father with a criminal history.

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 10 p.m.: KHOU 11 News at 10
