PEARLAND, Texas Authorities have charged a womanin connection with the death of a 19-year-old whose body was found behind an apartment building in Pearland on January 7.
Niare Lyte, 26, was charged with murder.
Brazoria County Sheriff s deputies discovered Jasmine Miller s body behind the complex in the 1000 block of Broadway, just off Highway 288, around 5:45 p.m.
She had been stabbed several times.
Investigators have not said what led to the murder, but a warrant was issued for Lyte on January 24.She was arrested booked into the Brazoria County Jail.
Lyte's bond was set at $250,000.
