Woman shot, killed in robbery identified as store clerk, mother of 2

Harris County Sheriff's deputies believe the two suspects are responsible for 5 to 10 other robberies.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A woman who was shot and killed Friday night at a convenience store was identified Monday as 31-year-old Donna Pena, a mother of two and the store clerk.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies said two masked men robbed the Shell gas station where Pena was working Friday night at 11999 Perry Road near Cypress Creek Parkway. Officials believe the two men are responsible for 5 to 10 other robberies.

Deputies said the two men dressed in hoodies and bandanas were only inside the Shell station for 25 seconds. Deputies at a press conference Monday released surveillance video of the suspects in the convenience store robbery and another robbery at a nearby Subway restaurant.
