Police: Armed and dangerous suspect in Huntsville teen's murder still at large

Police were on the hunt Thursday for a 17-year-old girl's killer. Investigators on Wednesday issued a warrant for Jerwoody Moler, 27, for the murder of K'Lynn Kohr.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas Police were on the hunt Thursday for a 17-year-old girl s killer.

Investigators on Wednesday issued a warrant for Jerwoody Moler, 27, for the murder of K Lynn Kohr.

Kohr was found dead in her trailer in the Tanglewood mobile home park in Huntsville around 2:40 p.m. on Sept. 6.

Police said she appeared to have suffered stab wounds.

Investigators said Moler may be driving a tan 2002 Ford Explorer with Texas plates AS54-607.

The SUV has minor damage to the passenger side. A Marine Corps sticker and a religious cross sticker adorn the rear window.

Police said the vehicle is stolen.

Moler was last seen at a pawn shop in Dallas on Sept. 7, where investigators said he sold stolen lawn equipment. Surveillance video from the shop showed a possible injury to Moler's right hand.

The suspect was released from prison on parole in June of 2010 to a Christian-based halfway house in New Waverly. Moler got a job in Huntsville through the home.

Police said hehad beenserving time for assault on a public servant and escape. He also has previous convictions of aggravated assault, burglary and theft on his record.

Moler has red hair and hazel eyes. He weighs about 190 pounds and stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall.

Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
