MARIONVILLE, Mo. -- A man who decided to commit a robbery in southwest Missouri got a surprise when he pulled a gun on a brave clerk who pulled out his own gun in return.

Jon Lewis Alexander was reportedly working at a liquor store Sunday night when a man walked into the store smoking a cigarette. When Alexander asked the man to take the cigarette back outside, the suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and said, You need to give me all your money.

According to CBS affiliate KOLR, Alexander, who is a 30-year-military man and former prison guard, pulled out his own loaded gun and told the man, you need to get out of here before I blow your head off.
