HOUSTON Mark Stevens, one of the most popular disc jockeys in Houston history, died Tuesday from complications with Alzheimer s disease. He was 76 years old.
Stevens teamed up with Jim Pruett in the early seventies to form the legendary DJ team Stevens and Pruitt.
Their wild and edgy style eventually put them on the cutting-edge of shock jock radio.
Stevens spent almost forty years cracking jokes and playing records for a living.
