HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — The occupants of a truck were nowhere to be found after a train crashed into it on Wednesday.
Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities said the two-mile-long train struck the truck in the 12700 block of Homestead Road, which is near the Eastex Freeway and Beltway 8 on the northeast side of town.
The truck was dragged about 50 yards.
Union Pacific is investigating the incident.
