HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A 6-year-old is dead after drowning Sunday in northwest Harris County.
On Sunday, the child was found face down in a community pool, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
It happened at 24999 Ceremonial Lane.
Emergency responders performed CPR on the child, who later died at Texas Children's Hospital at Barker Cypress, Gonzalez said.
It's the second known child drowning in as many days in the Houston area.
On Saturday, a 3-year-old drowned at a beach park in La Porte.
