UPDATE: Missing Greenspoint teen found safe, AMBER Alert canceled

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — UPDATE: The missing teen was found safe. The AMBER Alert has been canceled. Her name has been removed from this article to protect her identity.

An AMBER Alert was issued Wednesday night for a 15-year-old girl who was last seen last weekend.

The teen was last seen Sunday around 5 a.m. in the Greenspoint area.

Officials said she was last seen on Duran Canyon Lane, which is in a neighborhood just north of Beltway 8 along Veterans Memorial Drive.

She was wearing a black T-shirt, black tights and black Crocs.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office requested the Texas Center for the Missing to issue the alert and asked for anyone with information to call 713-755-7427.
