The Brazilian grandparents at the center of an intercontinental kidnapping case were in court Monday.
Carlos and Jemima Guimaraes are accused of helping their daughter take her son, Nico, from Houston to Brazil.
The boy’s father, Dr. Chris Brann, has been fighting ever since to get his son back.
The grandparents have hired some high-profile attorneys in this case, including Rusty Hardin.
The 8-year-old and his mother are still in Brazil.
