A Brazilian couple accused of helping their daughter kidnap her son had their bond lowered to $2 million by a federal judge Thursday.

Carlos and Jemima Guimaraes’ attorney says there will be a hearing in federal court Friday.

The judge lowered their bail from $3 million to $2 million combined.

The couple is charged with helping their daughter kidnap her son from Houston and taking him to Brazil.
