HOUSTON — "Hamilton" has been the hottest ticket on Broadway and around the country for several years. Now, there's a hilarious parody of the hit show, called "Spamilton".
It's been called smart, silly, and convulsively funny by the New York Times, and stars an actor from right here in Houston.
Adrian Lopez talked with Deborah Duncan about growing up in Houston, his experience in "Spamilton" and what it's like to play Broadway's leading man, Lin-Manuel Miranda.
