United passengers get surprise flight with esteemed astronauts
A couple of hundred United passengers were treated with quite the surprise Wednesday morning. They embarked on a celebratory flight to Houston from Newark. It's being called Mission Space City. Peggy Whitson and Kevin Ford were both onboard the flight. Whitson was the first woman commander of the ISS and has the record of spending the most time in space of any American (665 days). Ford, now a United pilot, went on two space flights of his own.
