That victim says the shooter had two children with him.

HOUSTON — A driver, headed back to work from his lunch break, was the victim of a road rage shooting on the North Freeway Thursday afternoon.

The man wasn’t hurt but the whole thing understandably has him shaken up.

That driver told KHOU 11 News, and Houston Police, he was getting off the North Freeway at Crosstimbers Street when another driver sped up to his bumper.

The man says he tried to let the guy around. That's when the other driver got mad and the two yelled colorful words at each other. Police say the second driver shot at the man’s car.

That victim says the shooter had two children with him.

A witness called 911 with the shooter’s license plate number. Police found at least one bullet in the victim’s tire, another hit the man’s gas tank. Police are searching for the shooter.
