HOUSTON — A former paraprofessional for the Katy Independent School District is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student at Paetow High School.
Kelsie Koepke, 25, was released on bond Wednesday after being charged with online solicitation of a minor and improper relationship with a student.
Administrators at Paetow High, which opened in 2017, said another student noticed a conversation on social media with inappropriate content being shared among Koepke and a student.
According to a probable cause affidavit supporting Koepke's arrest, the former paraprofessional sent a 15-year-old boy nude images of her breasts and two videos of herself masturbating.
The affidavit says Koepke's face is clearly visible in the videos, which were sent to the student through the social media application Snapchat.
Katy ISD said in a statement it "took immediate action and removed the paraprofessional from the classroom and later that day the employee was terminated from Katy ISD."
