CHARLOTTE, N.C. — You’ve probably been on a completely full flight, but have you ever been on one that’s completely empty?
That’s what happened to one man after he said his American Airlines flight was delayed nearly half a dozen times on Sunday.
Charlie Stringer said his flight from Oklahoma to North Carolina was scheduled for 6:20 a.m., but didn’t take off until 12:30 a.m. The delay was so long that he was the only passenger left and had the entire plane to himself.
He documented the flight on social media, of course, and the video of it is going viral.
"I felt so badly because I was like, oh my gosh, they literally had to come here for me," Stringer said.
Stringer said that the crew had fun with the unusual flight right along with him. They even bumped him up to first class.
