HOUSTON — There was a major traffic issue discovered in Brazoria County Tuesday.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, broken concrete caused the shutdown of Highway 6 near Froberg Drive between Manvel and Alvin for hours.
TxDOT sent crews to clean it up and patch up the roadway.
On Wednesday, TxDOT said additional repairs would be needed in the area. They said those repairs would be completed in the next couple of days. They also advised drivers that there would be alternating lane closures while the work was being done.
