Gulf Freeway reopens at FM 519 after pedestrian hit by car

The freeway was shut down for several hours Thursday morning.

GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas — The Gulf Freeway has reopened in both directions following an auto-pedestrian crash in Galveston County, according to Houston Transtar.

This happened at 6:10 a.m. in the northbound lanes near FM 519. The City of La Marque said at 12:58 p.m. that the freeway reopened.
