HOUSTON — A woman died in a fiery crash that left their vehicle split in half on Memorial Drive Wednesday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
This happened just before 2:30 a.m. near Sawyer Street.
Houston police said the woman was speeding when she crashed sideways into a tree and split her BMW in half.
The back half of the car burst into flames while she was ejected from the car, police said.
Police said a good Samaritan pulled her from the wreckage and tried to help her before paramedics arrived before she was pronounced dead at the scene.
