HOUSTON — The Texas Department of Transportation plans to shut down part of the I-610 South Loop in southeast Houston this weekend.
Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, the Loop's westbound lanes will be closed between SH-225 and I-45. Construction crews are expected to work on those lanes until 5 a.m. on Monday.
The 610 westbound exit to 1-45 North will also be closed at that time.
Drivers are encourage to find an alternative route.
