Take a tour inside the home of a Houston Texans superfan

Debbie Kerschen is all about the Texans and has the house and car to prove it!

HOUSTON — On Friday, we caught up with a lifelong Texans superfan and got a tour of her home turf.

Her name is Debbie Kerschen and she has a serious woman cave filled with all things Texans, from helmets and jerseys to Gatorade and potato chips fried from taters proudly grown in NRG dirt.

"So of course, the chips are never going to be opened," she said.

When the she-cave filled up, she moved out to the bathroom where her husband, also a fan, drew a line on the field of play.

"He's the one that said, 'Enough's enough,'" she said. "Because he knows that I'd have kept going."

Debbie has other ways of showing her shine. Take her custom boots.

"I don't say how much they were because my husband would kill me and he always tells me he doesn't want to know," Debbie said.

A few years back, she started bringing out her own gameday gear with a seriously outfitted workshop in the house. She does cups, shoes, hats, jackets and more. As for her Texans jacket, we asked how she keeps it clean.

"I don't get it dirty," she said, laughing. "And I don't wear it that much."

What she loves best -- the people she meets, whether on a Texans ship cruise or at a game.

She even met former Texans' star DeAndre Hopkins' grandmother and stays in contact with her.

How do the Kerschens afford all this?

"My kids are grown. This is my vacation, my season tickets, my traveling," Debbie said.
