These are the teams the Houston Texans will play next season at NRG Stadium and on the road

Houston will face three teams that are still alive in the playoffs, plus a showdown with the Cowboys.

HOUSTON — It’s only been a couple of days since the Texansseason ended, but we can already look ahead to next year.

That’s because on Monday, the team posted a list of the teams they’ll play next season at home and the ones they'll face on the road. The dates and times haven’t been set yet.

In all, Houston will take on seven teams that made the playoffs this season, including three of the four that are still alive.

We’ll start with the teams the Texans will play at home next season. As they do every year, Houston will host their division rival Colts, Jaguars and Titans. But also coming to NRG Stadium next season will be the Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

As far as teams they’ll face on the road, aside from the Colts, Jags and Titans, Houston will take on the New York Jets, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys.

Houston is coming off a major turnaround season. After three straight seasons at the bottom of the AFC South, Houston finished as the AFC champs and won their first playoff game since the 2019 season.
