LOGAN COUNTY, Colo. — Two Wyoming runaway teens who allegedly stole a car and guns and made threats to a League City preschool were taken into custody in Colorado.

Multiple agencies, including the League City Police Department, worked together to find evidence that the two teens were in Sterling, Colorado. They were taken into custody without incident.

The teens were put on League City police's radar after the Lander Police Department in Wyoming told the department that the teens were possibly headed to League City and reportedly made a threat to an unknown school in the area.

League City police investigated and said they found no actionable threats to any League City schools.

"I would like to thank all the local, state, and federal agencies that assisted in this process, and I am proud and humbled by the efforts of the men and women of the League City Police Department in their efforts over the last week to calm the concerns of our citizens," League City police said.
