HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A woman died after she was hit by a car in the Alief area Friday morning, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
This happened just after 5 a.m. at the intersection of Beechnut Street and Eldridge Parkway.
The sheriff did not release many details. He said the woman was hit by a male driver, who stayed at the scene.
The intersection remains closed as deputies investigate.
