Sheriff’s office: Xanax, cocaine, marijuana found in Sugar Land-area home

Three men were taken into custody on multiple drug charges last week at their Fort Bend home, deputies said Monday.
Three suspects were taken into custody and charged: 23-year-old Sarmad Quddusi, 24-year-old Saud Quddusi, and 19-year-old Safi Quddusi.

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas Three men were taken into custody on multiple drug charges last week at their Fort Bend home, deputies said.

The sheriff's office said the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force investigated illegal street and mid-level cocaine, Xanax, and marijuana trafficking. Three family members were taken into custody at their home in the 11000 block of Hueco Tanks Drive in the Sugar Land area.

Officials carried out an early-morning raid at the home on Thursday.

They said they found a substantial amount of marijuana, Xanax, powder cocaine and drug contraband indicative of manufacturing, packaging and distributing illicit narcotics.

The estimated street value of the narcotics is $30,000.

Three suspects were taken into custody and charged: 23-year-old Sarmad Quddusi, 24-year-old Saud Quddusi, and 19-year-old Safi Quddusi.

Sarmad Qudussi and Saud Quddusi are being held without bond. Safi Quddusi has a $101,000 bond.

As of Monday, all three remained in the Fort Bend County Jail.
