ROSENBERG, Texas — The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing teen last seen early Saturday morning.

Mya Mitchell, 18, was last seen wearing gray and white pajamas on door cam footage, leaving a home on Trinity Trail Lane near Ricefield Road in Rosenberg around 4:30 a.m.

Mitchell has black hair and brown eyes and is described as 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 110 pounds.

Anyone who has any information on where she may be or has surveillance footage of the area is encouraged to contact the sheriff's office at 281-341-4665, option 1.

EDITOR'S NOTE: After the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office originally reported that Mitchell had a cognitive impairment, they sent out an update that there is no evidence to support that, so we have removed that from our story. The sheriff's office is still asking for information about where she may be to make sure she is OK.
