GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas - The 15-year-old girl reported missing from Bacliff has been found, according to the National Center for Missing and Endangered.
Tim Miller, director of Texas EquuSearch, traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Thursday to pick up Mercedes “Sadie” Lee, who had been missing since last Friday.
“Not every case we work on turns out this way, so we consider this our Christmas miracle,” Miller posted with the photo on Facebook. “Mercedes will be spending Christmas with her family.”
Miller said he is not privy to the circumstances surrounding this case and asked for thoughts and prayers for Lee’s family.
