MAGNOLIA, Texas — A man and woman were found shot to death Friday inside a home in Magnolia, Texas.
This happened at about 9:10 a.m. at a home in the Northgrove subdivision, which is near FM 2978 and Standard Road.
Deputies said their deaths appeared to have stemmed from a domestic situation, but an investigation is still ongoing.
"Our homicide and violent crimes detectives, along with crime scene investigators, are diligently working to piece together the details surrounding this incident," said the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they were called to the home in response to a welfare concern and that's when they found the man and woman dead from gunshot wounds. Deputies said the gun was found in the home.
The names of the man and woman weren't immediately released to allow for the proper notification of next of kin.
"We recognize the sensitivity of this complex situation and will provide updates on our investigation as appropriate," deputies said. "Our thoughts and condolences go out to all those affected."
