HOUSTON — Clearly Houstonians are not the most forgiving when someone cuts them off or drives way too slow in the fast lane.
According to an article posted by GasBuddy, Houston ranks number 22 for the most aggressive drivers in the U.S. We’re not as bad as Austin, which ranks number 9, and we are far sweeter than the folks in Los Angeles who came in at number 1.
It also seems like a lot of Houstonians have a heavy foot, because the city came in at number 7 for most rapid acceleration incidents.
These finding were compiled using data from a feature in GasBuddy’s app that offers drivers an assessment of their driving habits during their trip to improve fuel efficiency. The feature maps out when and where a poor driving habit occurred.
