Colorblind glasses helping Houstonians see the rainbow

“It’s so cool! I don’t know how else to describe it. I’ve never experienced that before,” Kate Stacey said.

HOUSTON — The Color Factory is offering special corrective glasses to visitors who are colorblind.

The glasses help people see the full spectrum of color as they view the interactive art exhibits. A company called EnChroma partnered with Color Factory to provide the glasses.

Kate Stacey has red-green color blindness. She was one of several people who tried on a pair of the glasses while visiting Color Factory Wednesday.

“It’s so cool! I don’t know how else to describe it. I’ve never experienced that before,” she said.

You can buy tickets to the immersive art experience at www.colorfactory.co.

The colorblind glasses are available to all visitors for free.

“We pride ourselves on taking extra care and effort to support inclusion and accessibility within our immersive art experience,” said Tina Malhotra, Color Factory CEO and CXO.
