ROSHARON, Texas — If you live near Almeta Crawford High School and see a helicopter flying around your neighborhood Wednesday morning, there's no need to worry.
A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter is set to land on the campus around 8:30 a.m. The school is located on Caldwell Ranch Boulevard in Rosharon.
During this special Coast Guard visit, students will have the opportunity to interact with Coast Guard boats, K-9 Units, equipment and a search and rescue helicopter.
Takeoff should occur about 9:30 a.m., according to the district.
