HOUSTON — Some changes are happening over at Houston's CITYCENTRE.
The shopping and dining community is opening its space to three more retail stores along with a new movie theater.
Star Cinema Grill has taken over the former Studio Movie Grill location, which was positioned on the second floor of CITYCENTRE above Starbucks and Nike.
The theater has a revamped interior with new state-of-the-art amenities, including luxury seating with heated recliners, privacy pods with blankets and seat massagers that will only be available at the CITYCENTRE location.
The new retail stores include American Threads, Rowan and Southern Tide.
American Thread is a Georgia-born fashion brand known for its California-esque style with a cowgirl twist. This will be the first American Threads store in Houston. It's set to open this summer in the space next to Starbucks.

Rowan specializes in ear-piercing for all ages. All of their piercings are performed by licensed nurses only. In addition to piercing, Rowan also sells an extensive collection of hypoallergenic jewelry, ranging from hoops to studs and 14K gold. Rowan will open this summer and will be located next to Southern Tide.
Southern Tide is an apparel and accessories store that carries items for men, women, and children featuring original Southern Tide prints, innovative fabric and premium softness. This will be Southern Tide's second Texas location. It will open in the summer.
