Caught on camera: Young trick-or-treater replenishes empty candy bowl in Atascocita

Rachel Flores shared the video on X, formerly Twitter, of a young trick-or-treater showing up to her house on Halloween.

ATASCOCITA, Texas — A heartwarming good deed was caught on camera in Atascocita this Halloween.

Rachel Flores shared the video on X, formerly Twitter, of a young trick-or-treater showing up to her house on Halloween. When he noticed there was only one piece of candy in the bowl, the boy decided to take some candy out of his own bag and replenish the bowl for the next group of kids.

Flores was working that night and said she couldn't believe what she saw on her doorbell camera.

"I have seen so many viral videos of people, adults with their kids, taking candy, running, taking the bowl. Just so many wrongs, right? And here you have this little boy, by himself, talking to himself in the video, 'Well I'll just take this one cande here,' decides, you know what, I'm going to do the right thing here when no one is looking and have the integrity and the courage to do that. You know, it's a good thing to see. It's definitely a good thing to see," she said.

Flores said she would love to meet the young man's parents to commend them for raising their son right.
